Welcome to TDF

The TDF Scheme extends financial support and expertise to upgrade existing products/ systems, processes and its applications by reducing production costs, improving functionality and quality by promoting Make in India, and the development of futuristic technologies with defence applications. The Scheme enlists requirements of Service Headquarters of upgrading products/ systems and futuristic defence technologies as Projects for which eligible stakeholders can apply through this platform.

Mission

Achieve self-reliance by designing and producing advanced defense systems in India.
Provide cutting-edge solutions to improve the combat readiness and effectiveness of India's military.
Focus on advanced research in areas like missiles, cyber warfare, AI, and space technology.
Partner with industries, academia, and international bodies to foster innovation and technology transfer.

Vision

Foster the development of indigenous defense technologies to reduce dependency on foreign imports.
Encourage the participation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and startups in the defense sector to harness innovation and entrepreneurship.
Facilitate the transfer of research and development (R&D) efforts into practical, deployable technologies for defense applications.
