Total Air Temperature Probe(TATP)
Project Description
Total Air Temperature is measured by means of a temperature sensor installed in TATP in the path of the air stream. The temperature sensed by a thermometer probe in the air stream is the free air stream temperature in addition to the kinematic rise in temperature due to the air being brought partly or wholly to rest relative to the sensing probe. This also gives the measure of static air temperature (Ts).
