Smt. Nidhi Bansal took over as Director, TDF on 01 March 2020.
Smt. Nidhi Bansal is an Engineering graduate of PEC, Chandigarh (1988) and holds a Masters from IISc Bangalore in Mechanical Engineering. She has also attended various specialization courses including at IIM, Ahmedabad and other universities.
She joined Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL, Kochi) as Scientist 'B' in March 1991 and worked various Sonar Systems and Laser System during her different tenures at NPOL and LASTEC. She has vast experience in the fields of CFD, Thermal Mechanics and Electronics cooling.
She has many awards and publications to her credit. She is a life member of various professional societies like AeSI, IIE, ISHMT.
